thankyou for 1799 page view

Yes this is a thankyou art for everyone who had viewed my DA.
THANKYOU! I'm very happy to get a 1799 view page. XD I was planning to add "1777 view pages" since it seemed interesting. but the 1799 seemed much more interesting XD
this character was an original character of mine called Sho minami. Well her real name is reni (I haven't have the slightes idea for her family name, but it's going to be a indonesia name), yes... she is the FIRST really2 FIRST original character that I really love to draw and had story of her, so I put my name on her And also this is the first character I draw a girl that dressed up as a boy XD XD kyahahahaha... I realized that that was self satisfaction.
She is like me, she is chinese that born in Jakarta ^_^ and she was often mistaken as a japanese even by the japanese them selfs (that was my personal experience when I was 17).
About other detail? I'll kept it for my self XD or check it to my un-update-comic online at [link]

Well... my own critiqes... I hate how it becomes of the hair T_T it doesn't seemed like becoming one with the whole character. I realize that after I add it as a wallpaper on my desktop T_T
the other own critiques... I can't help it but still unsatisfied with the skin color. I want it to be smooth although it's dark, like yukiru sugisaki's coloring or like 's or like CLAMP .... or I need to study cellshading? ~_~

and last one, I think I mess up the lighting of the character ~_~ hmm...
the background it self was just like, trying to compositioned it as matchfull or as good as posible with the character, since I tried pitched black and I end up dislike it. Tried gradation dark blue + black... first it seemed right. then I felt unsatisfied again. So again, I experiment with my new downloaded brushes... and got this.

I can't complain anything about the background except I"M STILL UNSATISFIED T_T but jobs are starting to pile up.

Abit about while I color it (called it just a story that just wanted to be blab out), I coloured the skin almost 5th times T_T and can't even get satisfied, and after said it's ok (rather propably insist it's okay *laugh* she even asked her mom) I then stop deleting-recolour the skin layer and continue to the eyes, lips, hairs... and got stuck again at the hair...
again... I end up deleting-recolouring the hair layer. ~_~ propably... -+5th times as well.
And end up trying to stop again after I got at least what I wanted to.

So that's the end of the story.
